Budynek zrealizowany w 1897 roku z fundacji rodziny Ballestremów z przeznacze-niem na szkołę średnią dla dziewcząt. W latach późniejszych obiekt pełnił funkcję m.in. siedziby władz powiatu, szkoły realnej i gimnazjum koedukacyjnego.

Schule für Mädchen

The building built in 1897 from the Ballestrems' family foundation funds intended as a secondary school for girls. Later, the building was, among others, used as the seat of the county government, as a real school and a coeducational junior high school.

Das Gebäude wurde im Jahre 1897 von der Familie Ballestrem gestiftet. Das Gebäude wurde für die Oberschule für Mädchen vorgesehen. In späteren Jahren diente das Gebäude u.a. als der Sitz der Kreisbehörde, der Realschule und des koedukativen Gymnasiums.
